How can i report a bug and get somone smart to actually look at it?

The forums dont work, the people who look at them skim over them pay no attention and just blame your hardware.

You have a major bug with Plex and Chromecast that effects everyone i know as well, and its frustrating the hell out of me, how can i get it fixed?

There is no other way to report bugs other than the forums.

When reporting be sure you:

  • Title the post well and indicate what is happening in the title.
  • Tag the post with appropriate tags but not too many.
  • Describe EXACTLY what is happening and how to reproduce it.
  • Avoid vague terms like “it looks bad” or “it just crashes.”
  • Describe details of your hardware setup including. but not limited to, server hardware, network hardware, how everything is connected and what client you are using.
  • Include logs, while some problems can be diagnosed without logs including logs will give the experts a lot of needed info in most cases.

Again, the more details the better and the more polite the better.

i work in IT at a senior leve, i report faults with high end infrastucture… im pretty sure my fault descriptions are clear and detailed. even indian support centres understand me.

Plex seems to have little to no support.
