How do I get help with a bug?

I posted in the Playstation forum, but no one from Plex has bothered to answer.

I see no real question, bug report, exact problem description, how to reproduce the problem or logs in that link.

I am not surprised that no one from Plex or the Ninjas has responded. They do not know what to respond to. They are not the most responsive group of people but they must have enough info for any kind of response at all.

Elijah, it’s a well known problem and as far as I know, everyone has it. It crashes constantly while browsing media. I might as well just say “it doesn’t matter what version of the server, what version of the PS4 firmware or anything, it will crash if you browse media for more than a minute, often sooner”.

They know about it, they just stonewall about why they never fix it.

@FirstAidPoetry - I just did a quick scan of the first page of Playstation posts.
Saw 3 crash reports, one your post.
Not a single one followed the sticky post at the top of the forum section for “Troubles? Read here to learn how to provide great logs”
So, to answer your original question “How do I get help with a bug?”, see https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/195799/troubles-read-here-to-learn-how-to-provide-great-logs and follow it’s instructions.
Post a single thread with 20 reports if you need to.

Going to a forum section and saying "it’s broken, when will it be fixed’ helps absolutely no one.

This would be all good and well if you had any knowledge of the problem besides looking at the first page.
The PS4 client has been broken for many months and as far as I know, none of the posts have been acknowledged, no matter if they include a server side log or not. If they replied at all, I’d gladly spend hours supplying server logs and testing things.

Unless you think ignoring people is the right way to go if they don’t supply logs right away, we have nothing further to talk about, and if you do - that’s between you and a therapist.
