I guess this answers my question. I’m a +1 for sharing playlists. I don’t want shared users to be able to edit them. Just play them if they like.

I think this thread is being ignored as a feature suggestion as it’s in the wrong area. There is a thread in the Feature Suggestions area where you can vote on which ideas you like. Go here and vote: Share Playlists Please add a vote to that thread so we can get some visibility on this request!!

So this is just if you have your Plex server running on Windows? I have Plex running on a Synology NAS, so I don’t think I can use this unfortunately. Nice work though.

I would be interested in how you do this. (copy playlists from one profile to another) That would completely solve my problem

This has been solved by using WebTools utility. It allows you to share any playlist with any user… I do it for all my users so they have access to all my playlists with corrected viewing orders of movies and tv series’… Just search for WebTools in Plex and get it. VERY simple to use and insanely…
