First, let me say I'm aware that the Tivo channel app isn't supported, but I've seen some people reporting that it is working for them. I found a copy of it, put it in my plugins folder and it starts, but doesn't register any content. Is there some config info that I'm supposed to provide, like telling it the MAK for my Tivo?
yes there is a preference section where you are supposed to put in your Tivo MAC addresses but it depends on which client and server you are using. It no longer works if you are using home theater and the newest server.
I would love for someone to pick this up and fix the issues but there are just not enough developers. I wish i had the knowledge. Even at the TIVO forum, not enough Plex users that are developers as well. So sad :(
I would be ecstatic if a Plex App for Tivo was came out. The Roamio Tivo's are definately powerful enough. Would be even nicer if they also added itto the TivoMini. I would buy more Mini's insteade of more AppleTV's.
Any traction here? Would love a Plex App for the Tivo - I just got my Roamio and I agree with dadrepuS , it’s powerful enough.
Of course a Tivo App within Plex would be great too
