I recently added a series to my Plex server for which the TVDB episode order was incorrect. I fixed the entries on theTVDB.com and tried refreshing my metadata in Plex but it didn’t grab the new information. I even tried removing them from a library folder, emptying the trash for said library, and re-adding to a different library, but no joy.
Delete the tvdb cache. You can find in plex library folder. E.g:
Library/Application Support/Plex Media\ Server/Plug-in Support/Caches/com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb/HTTP.system

I have no idea where that “Library” is supposed to be. A search of my computer returns a couple of “com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb” folders, but none of them have “Library” anywhere in the tree.
Could you have meant:
\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Caches\com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb\HTTP.system
And am I just supposed to delete all the folders within “\HTTP.system”?
I have a linux server. Maybe the directory structure is a bit different. And yes, delete the content of that folder. After that try to refresh metadata.
