How to add cross library Collections?

I have many libraries and I would like to setup a “Recommended” collection, which should span across all libraries. I want to recommend TV Shows, Movies, 4K Movies, Music Concerts, etc. but not in different collections. Is is possible?

This is unfortunately not possible.
The collections are still created per-library. Even if you create collections in several libraries with the same name, this will not result in a single row on the Home page with content from all libraries in it. (if you “pin” the collection to the home page)

The user would still have to enter one of the “Recommended” collections in one of the various libraries. Then (s)he could see all recommended items at once.

Are there plans for such a feature? Is this something you could consider for new developments?

My goal was to have a row in the top with the current “featured” content as per my manual selection.

There’s feature suggestions to allow cross-library collections (and smart collections).

Plex doesn’t usually comment on their roadmap unless a feature is near complete / confirmed to be part of an upcoming release.
