My local station runs the same OTA channel in slightly different formats across multiple device channels.
DVR setup refuses to allow me to assign the same guide channel to multiple device channels on my HDHR.
How do I overcome this limitation?
There is not a way round this. We have it on the list of future development work
manual guide mapping to multiple channels is a much needed feature. sometimes the guide doesnt have two channels and yet the source tuner has an SD and an HD channel so you might need to map the same guide data to both channels.
Also i think allowing us to choose from multiple guides would be a good idea as there is no way to have two tuners from different sources that use different guides. users may have a cable tuner and an OTA digital tuner and a different guide for each and there is no way to specify two guides
