How to auto sign in for Plex.tv web app

Server Version#: Version 1.16.1.1291
Player Version#: Version 3.106.3
On my client machines (Windows 10), I have https://app.plex.tv/desktop pinned to desktop using Google Chrome create shortcut. I wish to have the web player automatically preselect a designed user (I have three local users in the plex server) and login, without asking for me to click on an user picture and type the PIN. How can I achieve this?

Setting --> General -> Automatically Sign In

  • Do not prompt to select a user or enter a PIN during startup on this device.

awesome. this solved my problem. thanks a ton.

surprisingly i spent an hour looking for this setting and google searched, couldn’t find it on my own.
