How to block x rated content from plex streaming service with ads?

so now that Plex has streaming services, I ran across a video from the streaming service that has a rating of “X”. I went to create a new user and block “X” rated material but there is no option for “X”

i have never had this issue because I dont have “X” rated content in my libraries UNTIL plex released this streaming service with ads

please help

What kind of user are we talking about?
If this is a managed user you can apply a restriction profile (e.g. small child, teen…) in the user settings.

is there a way to just blacklist the “X” rating, so i dont have to pick 30 rating categories for the managed user?

  1. Go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/users-sharing
  2. select the managed user you want to restrict
  3. click on Restrictions
  4. click on Movies > Edit
  5. enter X in Exclude Ratings

Edit: I actually need to check if this is already available… I’ve been reading Plex is looking into blacklisting ratings/labels. Last time I’ve checked you could only whitelist them.

ya it only shows “ALLOW ONLY RATINGS”
