I want to change spanish covers that were downloaded to english versions and I can’t figure out how to do it in the web-based media manager. I tried the wrench to no avail. Thanks for the help!
Click on the item to go to the details view. Then click on the pencil icon in the action bar to the left to edit that item. There should be a button for Change Poster and Change Background underneath the poster.
click on the movie, you’ll find “edit” button in upper left corner. after that you will be able to change poster, change background or delete.
but how do I add my own poster?
You cannot upload images to the media server yet. This is something we are planning on implementing, but currently only the Cocoa manager can add custom posters and backgrounds. If you are using OSX, you can access this by holding option when clicking on the media manager.
I am having trouble getting to the Cocoa manager. When holding option while clicking on the PMS app, it simply takes me to the web interface.
Hold option while clicking Media Manager from the menu bar.
When I do that, it brings up the preferences dialogue. I was under the impression it should bring up the old media manager, was I mistaken?
You must hold the option key while choosing the menu item "Media Manager…" from the menu bar menu.
