I have my Movies located on their own 2TB drive. I would like to save all Live TV recordings to their own 2TB drive. How can i change the DVR location for the Live TV? I am Afraid the DVR recordings will fill up the “Movie Drive”.
- create a new tv library using the path of your chosen destination
- add or edit a scheduled recording and change the path dropdown to the new library/path.
A separate library is like I use it as well.
I just want to mention that you can also add the new drive to the existing library. You will then get a selector for the location when setting up the recording.
Keep in mind that you’ll have to edit your existing recording jobs as well, to steer them to the new drive/library.
