I’m running a PMS on my Nvidia Shield & am using the same Shield as a client. I need to get all EAC3 audio to be transcoded to AC3 audio because my TV and Receiver don’t support the pass-through of EAC3. Does anyone know how I would customize this? I’ve never used a profile before with Plex.
It’s a shame nearly after 2 months you haven’t received a single reply for this question. Plex support surely sucks.
Did you manage to figure out how to configure profiles on the Shield Server?
You can’t, that is not what profiles do. It only reads the profile if the device is it connected to reports that it can’t play it.
