How to delete account?

Hi All,
Hoping someone knows how to delete their Plex account ?

I recently received the ‘potential data breach’ email, and as I don’t use Plex anymore I figured it would be easier to just kill the account.

After logging in and going to the ‘Account Settings’ page, I navigated to the bottom and selected the ‘Delete your account’ button. Unfortunately all this does is send me a ‘Reset your password’ email, and around and around we go.

I through the next best option would be to contact support, but it was a little hard to find anyone to contact, and everything I found basically stated support questions would not be answered and try the forum instead.

So here I am, and any help would be appreciated.
If the mods, admins, or anyone else with the the ability to help reads this, please get in contact. I just want it closed.

Thanks tom80H, sometimes things are easier than they seem !

For anyone else trying to do the same:

  • Sign in
  • Click ‘delete account’
  • Wait for the email and change password
  • Sign in
  • Click ‘delete account’
