How to delete an account

At one point I signed in using my google account. Since then I have purchased a lifetime subscription of PLEX Pass on another account. This seems to be causing problems for me and I am wondering how to delete the account that used my Google credentials.

…just noticing this post was created on the account that I don’t want and PLEX will not give me the option to sign on as another user.

Go to your server.
Settings - Server - General
‘Sign Out’

Then sign out of your current plex.tv account in the web browser itself:

web_sign_out

Afterwards, sign into your other plex.tv account in the web app first.
Then you will be notified of an ‘unclaimed’ server in your local network.
Claim it. Done.

Thanks. That helped me get into the correct account. I am now responding from the account that has the Plex Pass associated.

I may have gotten lost on the unclaimed server part, but L will try what you suggest in your last statement and maybe that will make it clear.

If you lost access to the server settings, you can force the server into the ‘unclaimed’ state with this procedure:

OK. The problem is that I am very new to this. I tried Plex for a couple days on one of my Windows machines and then purchased a WD PR2100 NAS and installed the server there.

So the problem is compounded by trying to learn a couple of new devices at the same time.

I probably still have the plex server running on my Windows machine as well as my NAS, and who knows, I also purchased an nVIDIA Shield as a client and not sure if that device also may have a server on it by default.

based on the attached picture, it looks like I am signed into teh correct server (the NAS) and it looks like the PC server is still there but offline or something.

See my previous post. Perform the procedure on your Windows machine.

Great. I will give that a try.
