How to display 2 part movie?

I have a movie No Direction Home: Bob Dylan that is in two parts. I would like them to display as two parts so I can select which part I want to play. At present the only way that I can distinguish between the parts is with Play Version where I can see they have different bit rate but there is no indication which part is which.
I have two copies of the movie. One is an MKV ripped from a Blu-ray the second is an MP4 ripped from the BBC iPlayer These are the filenames:-

No Direction Home Bob Dylan (2005) - Part1 .mkv
No Direction Home Bob Dylan (2005) - Part2 .mkv
No Direction Home Bob Dylan (2005) - Part1.mp4
No Direction Home Bob Dylan (2005) - Part2.mp4

If I select Play Version I get four versions offered but no way of distinguishing which is Part 1 & which is Part 2
4.1Mbps
4.8Mbps
12.4Mbps
14.8Mbps

That’s not possible.

You should put one of the versions into a separate folder and mark it as a separate {edition}.

Another approach to consider is to merge the two files into one.

If this produces a perfectly playable file, you may be better off by generating an optimized version of it in Plex, instead of maintaining the iPlayer version separately.
(unless of course the iPlayer version has something that the BR rip is lacking)

The problem arises because IMDB & TMDB don’t catalogue this as two separate parts. I don’t think that this was shown in theatres only on TV & certainly in the UK this was in two parts. The Blu-ray is in two parts. It’s even labelled on screen as Part 1 & Part2. I don’t want to concatenate the two files into one as it’s meant to be in two parts not one.

Then your best way to solve it is to create it as a mini series on TMDB.

Present your evidence that it’s indeed a mini series and not a movie, when it’s questioned by the TMDB content moderators.
Maybe report the “movie” record on TMDB in advance as false, to draw attention to it.

Thanks as always for your very prompt answers. I have now edited the filenames & added {edition-part1} or {edition-part2} as appropriate. This works for me as it allows me to distinguish between Part 1 & Part 2 so I can select which to play.
