How to exclude folders without recognized media?

I have a number of folders in my Plex library folder that are “empty” according to the Plex Media Player. They actually have various forms of media in them like ebooks, but they show empty in the folder view in PMP. How can I exclude these folders from showing up in the PMP? I’d like to get a generalized solution and not just manually adding each of these explicitly to the .plexignore folder

I guess the most common approach would be not to include ebook folders in a movie / tv-show library folder :wink:
If you add a top-level media folder, it’ll show all those folders in folder mode – even the ones for which there’s no media Plex is capable of dealing with for a particular library.
