In summary, as the title implies, I’m looking for anyone who knows how to trigger thumbnail generation. It runs automatically just fine for new files I add. However, on the movies library I added to a fresh install of PMS, I interrupted its thumbnail generation after a few hours by rebooting it, and ever since, I haven’t been able to get it to resume thumbnail generation for that existing movie library, no matter what I try.
I’ve got thumbnail generation running as a “scheduled task and when media is added” as you can see here:
I’ve tried setting the scheduled tasks time at a time I can watch it, as you can see here:
I’ve tried doing a refresh metadata on the library, and the analyze function, neither causes thumbnail generation to resume.
I tried doing each of the things in the troubleshooting area with optimizing the database and cleaning bundles. I’m seriously at a loss.
I’ve been searching this forum, and haven’t found any answers.
Anyone know how to force thumbnail generation to resume on an existing library? I must be missing something obvious…
