Video Preview Thumbnails not generating with new media

Server Version#: Version 1.20.3.3483
Player Version#: Version 4.34.4

I have tried every trick in the forums to get Video Preview Thumbnails for looking forward and back in moves to work but it doesn’t. It USED to and in fact the “Activity” indicator would show it happening. But it doesn’t work anymore. I have checked both the general and library settings for generating them. I have made sure it is set to “as a scheduled task and when media is added”. I even tried some of the command line options with the --force. But no luck. Please advise.
