Summarising the current situation for users who just want to turn off Discover:
- Currently can’t be fully disabled
- Managed users won’t see it in sidebar or searches (only in Watchlist).
- As main Plex user, to not have it in home screen, just unpin from sidebar.
- As main Plex user, to disable it in searches, start a search and click the setting icon, unselect it from “Search in…” list.
- It will appear in Watchlist for main user and managed users, there’s no way to disable, so for now don’t use Watchlist.
- Proper settings management is apparently coming in a future update.
