Hi,
I am quite a newbie with Plex. I read the “Media Naming and Organization Guide” but I not found a solution (or not recognised it) for my problem. I am just try to migrate from xbmc to Plex. From many of my movies I also have some short snippets like „directors comments, making of, trailer, take out's and such stuff. In xbmc I organized it in the way that I put them in a directory “extra” under the video directory and told xbmc to not scan recursively. So they not shown up under “Movies”.
/media/movie/Alien 3 (1992)/Alien 3 (1992).mp4
/media/movie/Alien 3 (1992)/folder.jpg
/media/movie/Alien 3 (1992)/extra/Making of.mp4
/media/movie/Alien 3 (1992)/extra/Trailer.mp4
As a result I got with xbmc a quite clean view of my movies. If I would like to see the trailer I manually navigated to the snippets by the folder structure.
With Plex I not found a way to get rid of the clustered view where my main movies are listed side by side with all snippets. So I searching for the best way to handle this extras with Plex. I do not care to reorganize or rename the files as long I got a nice and unspoiled view.
Has anybody a tip how to handle this?
Thanks
