So, I wanted to give my Nephew access to Plex and sent him an invite. Already have other family members accessing my server from outside my lan so that is not the issue. Since i have never tried signing up other than admin. I do’t know what is sent in the email and how Plex explains how to set it up for remote users. Documentation on that process is missing. Went to Plex’s page and found nothing to explain the process for a user, not a host. He has gotten no further than installing a client and seeing the free stuff. wha is he missing? I’m not saying he is an idiot but he didn’t complete something along the way but what? I just don’t know how to walk him through it remotely.
