How to I get Plex to display proper movie info?

I have a movie, “The Jungle Book” that was released in 2016, but when Plex displays the info for it, it show the info for the 1967 version, which displays the wrong movie cast, directors, writers, etc…

I can edit the year, director, producer, genre, rating and all that other stuff, BUT I can’t edit the cast info…

Can someone help?

P.S. - Same goes for Fright Night and Total Recall (Ironically, both Colin Farrell movies, but not intentional)

The Plex naming convention (links are in my signature) allow you to specify the year of release in parenthesis when movie titles are remade.

In this case:

The Jungle Book (2016)/
  The Jungle Book (2016).ext

is how it should be named

I had the same issue with Total Recall. Plex had both dates assigned to the same movie and wouldn’t show the second. So I deleted the .srt files (that were probably wrong anyway) moved the two files named Total Recall (1990).mp4 and Total Recall (2012).mp4 to a non Plex directory (desktop), then added them back one at a time. Wait for Plex to populate the first before adding the next.
