How to install Plex cliet on Odroid C2 (already flashed w/ Android)

So I have replaced my Qnap TS212 (2 bay) NAS with a Dell R510 rack server (60TB). I was using Kodi client on a Odroid C2, but am having network issues getting Kodi to share the media on the Dell R510 server, so I am going to switch over to Plex.
(I already have a Roku player with Plex that works in the house and can see the Dell server.)

So in this case, I am going to use the Odroid C2 client to run Plex.

The Odroid C2 currently has Android flashed on it but is it best to reflash a different Operating System??

What would be the best practice for using the Odroid C2 as a Plex client? The Dell server can definitely run PMS.

I just wanted to see what my best options were…

Thanks!

When I installed the Android image on the eMMC/ Odroid C2 it was very straight forward.

Is installing OpenPHT the same thing? I found this image: OpenPHT-Embedded-1.7.1.137-b604995c-Odroid_C2.aarch64.img.gz

Its done the same way?

Yes. You will extract the IMG file out of the gz file. Then use Win32imager to image the eMMC module or microSD card.

Worked like a charm !

Now I just need to get a good remote…
