Didn’t have to correct compilations yet. But for live albums and singles it worked to add an MP3 tag “RELEASETYPE” with value “album;live” and “single” respectively. So I would suggest you try to add this tag with value “album;compilation” and see what happens. Be careful to use this exact spelling …
