Is there any way where I can add subtitles to the movies or series available on the plex?? The movies that I added have subtitles, but those movies that are from the ‘streaming’ for free from the plex, besides not having subtitles, also don’t have an option for us to put an external one, neither by upload, nor by the plex search itself.
Are subtitles available?
When sourcing content from our partners, we do request subtitles for the content from them whenever it is available. Typically, this will be English subtitles, but not all content will have subtitles available or provided to us.

Unfortunately, subtitles cannot be added to OnDemand media which don’t have them.
Plex is restricted to what its streaming partners are willing (and allowed) to deliver.
Subtitles are protected by copyright just as the whole movie. Even if there are suitable subtitles in existence, they might be only licensed for a certain market/country/medium. Adding them to streaming material might be illegal.
Even providing the means to do that might present a liability.
