How to recognize "Plex Versions" videos optimized by another PC?

I have a Plex Media Server (version 1.7.5.4035) on Windows that I’ve had forever which includes optimized versions of a lot of my media (that Plex stores in “Plex Versions” on my NAS drive where my videos are located).

I recently have a new NAS that I wanted to have run Plex (instead of Windows), but when I setup Plex on it and point it to the same NAS location that has the “Plex Videos” folder, Plex doesn’t recognize that there were files previously optimized.

Is there a way for a new Plex install to recognize the Plex Versions files so that it understands what optimizations have already happened? I can’t seem to find a way to get this to work.

Ah… the simple trick for me was given both PMS servers (Windows and NAS) point to the same NAS file location for videos, all I had to do on the server that didn’t optimize was to rescan the library, and it all of a sudden recognized the files optimized by the other. Looks like I should be all set!
