I’ve replaced a show (and plan to replace some others) with new Blu-Ray rips from my old DVD rips. The problem I have is that the old DVD rips run at 25fps and the Blu-Ray rips are 24fps, which knocks the video preview thumbnails that were generated from the DVD rips out of sync.
How can I regenerate the video preview thumbnails for the affected items? Thanks
They should get replaced automatically during the next nightly maintenance.
You can also try “Analyze” on each episode separately.
When I click on Analyze for an episode it just has the wheel over the thumbnail for a split second and then goes away and doesn’t do anything, the same video thumbnails are there. Is there something I’m missing? Thank you
Watch the ‘Activity’ icon on the top of the window. It should get a “spinner” after the poster turns normal again.
Hmmm weird… The activity icon doesn’t start spinning once the poster goes to normal. Any ideas? Can send over logs if you need. Thank you for your help 
The only cure for this is probably a Plex Dance which will cause the show to appear under ‘Recently Added’.
Ah damn… Was hoping I wouldn’t have to do that. It’s fine though. Will that reset the watch history and progress on the show?
As long as you use the same metadata agent as before, this status will be retained.
