How to Remove Albums from metadata

I absolutely love Plex, thank you for accomplishing what many other programs have cancelled and sold out to (Music brainz, fix tunes etc…)

However, it is separating my songs into albums, so in order to see every song from the same artist, I have to constantly dive into and out of albums.

Personally, I have no use for albums other than some pretty artwork to be displayed at the bottom. What I do have a use for though, is to see all of my songs, from one artist in one place.

Pretty much what I’m asking for is the same layout that you currently use for TV shows of one single season. Dev’s could probably even copy and past the same code used.

Example: The “Tv Show” would be used as “The artist” and now “Season 1” would be used for “Track Titles”. That’s it… no need to separate tracks into album folders.

I know this will still require a good amount of developing, so if it can’t/won’t be addressed, then is there a way to manually remove the metadata associated with any albums?

This way I can manually make all tracks display underneath the artist (as if the tracks did not belong to an album in the first place).

Thank you guys/gals,
This is the best media software in a ridiculously long time (decades).

The Artist page used to show all tracks for all albums by the artist. They were still organized by Album, but you still had all tracks on a single page.

Unfortunately, at about the time they introduced Premium Music Libraries, they changed the design of the Artist page to only show the Album tiles, and not the track lists. There were some complaints about this, and requests to at least have an option to revert to the old view, but nothing came of it.
