Is there a way to remove the reviews content from Rottenttomatoes which takes a big chunk of my screen when I am on a movie’s page ? That “enhancement” was already on Plex Web but is now also on the Plex windows app since the “Arcade” update.
I know Plex is probably a lot/mostly used by american users but think a bit about us non-american. Now we have to deal with opinions from random american medias written in a foreign langage.
If there is no option to remove them, is there one to put them in our own langage at least ?
We may be a politically divided country, but I’m not aware of any American that would be disappointed if reviews could be eliminatederadicatedbanished to the ash heap of history disabled.
I did my part and voted but come on… 30 votes only in over 6 months ? Guess we are going to enjoy this “feature” for a good moment if we aren’t that many to complain.
Is that really petty to ask for choice here.
I really couldn’t care less if some dude working for The Guardian disliked my favorite movie.
If my own users (family and friends) could recommend movies they truly enjoyed between them on the other hand… I am tired of being their “movies consultant” for far too long ahah.
In all seriousness, I don’t think throwing tons of unwanted/unasked features and services is the best way to monetize your core users.
