I recently started using Plex for my Music collection of old CDs, have PMS on my Nvidia Shield.
I noticed under each artist it has a list of Popular Tracks, this is irrelevant for me, I don’t want a list of popular tracks, how can this be remove or disabled please?

Under the advanced settings of your music library there is an option “Popular Tracks”.
You can disable this option which will then remove that section from your artists. However, you may need to refresh the metadata of your artists for it to be removed.
Disabling this will have a negative impact on shuffling and some of the radios in Plexamp. Not recommended.
Thanks for your reply! This is rather strange, that option was already unchecked.
Under all but one artist there are no Popular Tracks listed, only albums by that artist, but under the Bowie it lists a load of Popular Tracks, then each album below those.
I refreshed Metadata and scanned library again, but it remains, any idea what might be causing this please, and what to do?
I don’t have or use PlexAmp, only the regular Plex app.
I’d suggest trying a plex dance (all steps) with Bowie and all his albums etc… Could be some stale data in the db not getting nuked. The dance should sort that.
