How to remove Sonic Analysis results?

The results and recommendations it makes don’t really work for the kind of music in my library and I won’t be using it. How do I hide or remove the results from the web interface and PlexAmp?

I’ve disabled the “Analyze audio tracks for sonic features” under the server settings and unchecked the “Sonic Analysis” option in my music library settings and restarted the server. It no longer performs the Sonic Analysis on newly added music but it still shows the Sonic Analysis results from the music it already analyzed.

What else do I have to remove or disable to remove the Sonic Analysis results?

This page describes the feature of Sonic Analysis

Try to remove the results by doing a Plex Dance on one album if you don’t mind losing play history, star rating, custom changes to tags, and loudness data.

Anyone know another way?

Plex dance won’t remove play history or star ratings.

Dance will remove custom tags. I’m not sure on loudness but certainly worth a try on one album and see if it does.

Also think loudness is stored in the blogs db so (in theory) you could delete that db which will nuke it all. DB should be created again afterwards and maintenence will recreate over time. You would also lose intro detection as that’s stored there so proceed with caution and have backups just incase.

Thanks for correcting. I remember it now, that play history gets retained.
So i got 1 outta 4 right?

Yesterday I did the Plex dance because of a problem with the waveform data (annd some tracks were missing SA info too) after moving Plex Server to a NAS.

I can confirm the sonic analysis data is removed (and waveform data as well). As I checked the :white_check_mark: the process is running again.
