I checked my Plex metadata folder and it contains tons of images of stuff that I removed from Plex long ago. Why are these images still stored? I did the ‘Empty Trash, Clean Bundles, Optimize Database’ for all libraries yet unused stuff is NOT being removed. Furthermore I accidentally manually added the wrong image for an episode, there is no way on Plex to delete images once added. I removed the video itself, emptied trash, cleaned bundles then re-added the video in the hopes that (like in the past) only the default images created by Plex would be there. But for some reason now Plex still kept the manually added image after removing the video. I removed the entire season and followed the same steps then added the season back, again the manually added image is still there. What the heck is going on? Why is there no way to manually delete images from Plex on the website and why the hell are dozens upon dozens of old images still hanging around my metadata folder for stuff LONG SINCE removed from Plex? This is completely unacceptable and it looks like Plex doesn’t have a clue what it’s doing.
