was automatically closed after three months of inactivity… but I am still waiting for a reply of Plex devs since the problem still exists and is simply inacceptable.
I had the same problem just yesterday with a movie… had to stop it in the middle of the movie (after I noticed that it had subtitles needed, switched the on only to learn that transcoding of HEVC started (making the movie unviewable). So, I stopped the movie, configured the settings, switched it on again… Later, I switched devices (we changed the room… voila, same movie unviewable again, had to change configuration on that device also).
Next day… SRT subtitles on different movie not viewable… Arghhhh… changed settings again.
Darn… can’t somebody once and for ever fix that bug in the “automatic” subtitle setting. This cannot be that hard.
Why am I so p*ssed, you may asked? Well, I just discovered, that after the recent update, most recordings from the DVR are rendered useless on all three PMS that I have.
Restarted all PMS to check recordings tomorrow… why do you don’t help me with fixing these long-known bugs and stop introduce new bugs to the DVR without even introducing new features within the DVR (I already mentioned some wishes in another thread).
Instead, after a first “contact”, nothing happens… does not seem important.
