I don’t know how/where to check the history @MovieFan.Plex , a few of my posts get locked because “Plex team is aware” ( @BigWheel did this to 1 of my recent threads in the last 3 weeks, even though there’s no fix, no update, no eta, no communication, nothing!) and then some of my other posts get “Split Off” into their own random thread like this where @darcilicious converted my 1 subtitle bug comment into its own random thread- making it hard to follow/track
But the problem still remains (on 7.28 anyways) I am not getting 7.29 / 7.30 pushed to me…
This is a simple thing - I even provided the fix, it used to be fine, and then randomly broke, which is why I had to make a workaround…
I dont understand why core features that used to work, keep randomly breaking during “other new features”, the app is also kinda becoming a bloatware and not as snappy as it once was, constantly having to wait a couple seconds for it to buffer too, etc etc…
But this subtitle issue is really annoying because unless I finish the movie in 1 sitting, I have to turn off subtitles before choosing to play (and when I do that, sometimes it restarts the movie from 0:00:00) – so now I have to forward to wherever I was… confirm that, then re-enable subs…
Please fix…
I just want the app to work, and its frustrating when things that used to work, constantly break, and when I try to communicate, moderators keep shuffling threads around, breaking threads, or locking them and then don’t provide an update… like seriously, its been over 6 weeks since I have been able to watch a single 4k file on my Amazon Fire Stick TV… files that used to work, don’t.
How long does it take to fix things taht used to work perfectly!
Thanks @darcilicious , as I said – Sept 2019, that’s 6 months, but I think that’s my second update thread… where I added other variations of the bug. I can’t find the original… and sure enough, the thread you linked is “Locked”…
