How to RESCAN all libraries on-demand

Hi,
Running V4.136.1 on A Synology NAS. Finished re-org videos, renaming some, deleting some, moving some and I am all done now.
My settings include “scan my library automatically”, “scan my library periodically” (Daily) but I can see videos whose “tiles” show a DELETE icon on it.
A I was done making changes yesterday at 7 PM … 16 hours later I still see those icons and no activity is reported by the server.
What is the best way to refresh all my libraries so that their content gets updated?

BTW, the PlexMediaServer user has READ ONLY access to the video folders …
I may have misinterpreted the concept, I just do not want accidental deletions while watching content, not by me or my users

Sounds more like you’ve disabled Settings > [Server Name] > Library > Empty trash automatically after every scan. In that case, you’ll need to manually trigger Empty trash in that library’s context menu to get rid of the items corresponding to the deleted files.

Tanks. That was exactly it (sorry for the delay)

Settings - [server] - Library - ‘Show Advanced’ - “ Allow media deletion”.

Users are not allowed to make any changes on your server. That includes deleting content as well.
(Unless you have allowed clients in your local network to access your server without authentication. In which case they will get all the server owner’s abilities, so beware how permissive you are with that network setting.)
