So I have searched the forum and have found that this same question has been asked, but none of the answers seem to be correct, or I’m doing something waaaaaaay wrong.
I have a MacBook Pro, and when I launch the Plex Media Server it brings up a browser page.
Answers I’ve seen included clicking on “Plex” on the left hand side and then click quit. Well that would work if the program that is executing Plex was called Plex, but it’s not - It’s Safari - and by quitting Safari that doesn’t quit Plex.
Am I doing something wrong? How can the PMS be restarted? I’m trying to restart it because I keep getting the “Not available outside your network. Your server is signed in to Plex, but is not reachable from outside your network. Learn more” message, and I read somewhere that restarting the PMS should resolve that issue.
