My computer died last week, I have bought a new iMac to run my Plex Server. I have downloaded the newest version, dragged and dropped into Applications. When I double click Plex in the Applications folder it loads the Icon in the Top Menu Bar but it loads a webpage that says Safari Can Not Open This Page. I log into Plex through the webpage and when I try to add Media it tells me to download Plex Server. When I run Task Manager Plex is not shown. I have done the basic google suggestions, restart my computer & router. I have checked my Firewall, it is shut off. I am clearly doing something wrong as the server will not start up properly to rebuild.
You might need to allow PMS to be accessible locally in your Mac‘s privacy settings.
