How to search for "generic terms" in music library

Okay hear me out,

With the way I manage music, in the metadata of songs, I add generic terms in the comments of the metadata of the song(s) in order for it to fall into a category of specific music. For example, I have Disney albums, but some of them don’t have the word “Disney” in the song titles, album, artist names, album artists, etc. In MusicBee, I can add the word “Disney” in the comments, so whenever I search for that word, that album immediately pops up in the feed. I had thought about placing it in Genre, but it would overly simplify it to the point that multiple genres would have the same genre. I know, it’s a bizarre method of how I arrange my music, but I’ve grown to do that. Does Plex have such a feature where it searches the metadata of the songs? I’ve tried this with no luck. Or maybe there’s another way around this and I’ve been doing this incorrectly?

Thank you if you have any suggestions. I’d greatly appreciate it.

When you edit the song / album / artist, go to „Tags“ and set a „Collection“ tag.

With that, you can subsequently apply that tag as a filter in the respective views.
