I’m name with plex and i’m using it for a few weeks now. At first I was using Jellyfin, but I wanted an application which is better supported on all platforms.
But now I have a question. I can’t see the episode name of some Animes.
For example I have Dragon Ball Z, but Jellyfin and Plex are looking at my NAS storage.
And Jellyfin shows the episode and the episode name, where as Plex doesn’t not.
Is there something I’m missing?
Episode names are only fetched from online metadata services. Not from file names.
Which means that your files need to follow either the regular (“aired”) episode ordering on TheMovieDB.org or any of the orderings on TheTVDB.com
Which ordering you actually use for this series, has to be selected either in the properties of the whole library, or in the properties of the show.
