How to stop auto-play of TV episodes

Hi
I’m trying to stop my TV shows from auto playing the next episode as soon as the current one ends.
I’ve tried the following ( as found on this forum)

  • play an episode
  • pause and open up settings in the on screen menu
  • uncheck the Auto Play box

… but it doesn’t seem to make any difference.

I am doing something wrong?

I’ve fixed it.
I hadn’t realised that the Player Experience had to be changed on each viewing device. i.e. smart TV, phone etc, which I’ve now done. I was trying to do a universal change from my laptop.
Am I right that the Player Experience isn’t available for Windows 10 laptops?

Here’s the list of supported clients: Player Experience

Plex Web & Plex Desktop are not supported.
Plex HTPC is supported.

I do not know. Plex is in the process of re-working the clients (started with mobile, will progress to others). I’ve not seen any details about what is planned for Plex Web & Desktop.

Disable Auto Play in the Web App and Plex for Desktop here:

In the case of the Web app, tell your web browser to retain cookies from plex.tv, instead of throwing them away when it’s closed. Otherwise this and other player settings will revert to default between sessions.
