How do you disable "Post-Play" "Auto-Play" or whatever the He** you call it!!!

Using Windows 10/Android/PS3-4/etc devices, cannot find any setting to turn off this infuriating option: I do NOT want shows/episodes/movies auto playing the next. SURELY, in this “advanced” age, we can control what we do or do not want???

Not sure about the specific device apps you listed, but on my
Android Mobile: Settings/Experience/ Uncheck ‘Auto Play’.
Roku: Settings/General/ Uncheck ‘Auto Play’
FireTV: Settings/General/ Uncheck ‘Auto Play’

If you found those and are still seeing the infuriating Post Play Screen, nobody wanted, or needed, but is in our faces because Plex is so proud of their twisted design concepts they’re going to force you to endure them…

Uh… no… there’s no way to turn that off.

Same problem here…annoying.
PMS V 1.7.3
Android 5.10 & 6.1
chromecast.

According to my setup…it SHOULD be disabled. Everything was fine until a few days ago.
Have UNCHECKED all the right check-boxes.

Have multiple apps accessing the PMS with the exact same trouble. so…we updated PMS…

STILL the same EFFIN problem…can anyone stop PLEX from playing EVERY effin title in a season.

Could be a new bug - wouldn’t be surprised - but for the record where are you pressing play?

In the old days pressing ‘play’ at the show level started the poor man’s auto play.
Now, in the new days, auto play should be controlled via that setting that disables the actual auto playing, but never rids the user of the annoying post play area.

If you’re pressing play at the episode level and auto play is off it should not be auto playing - ideally.
Are you casting?

It’s right about here where an employee should show up to guide us, but since there’s little chance of that, let’s gather all the information we can in the hopes that one stumbles through the fly-bead-curtain on the way to the KFC next door.

lol

Yes, I am casting.
However everything was working fine…autoplay off/no autoplay of next up.

Then last week or so, even though auto-play is dis-abled…it continues to the next episode.
On previous problems with this issue…for some reason…I could just un-install the android app…re-install…and before the first use you had to make sure it was disabled. This time…that is not the case.

I have even tried re-installing OLDER versions of the android app on every device to try to isolate…no luck.

So…for sh*ts and giggles I updated my Plex Server to the most recent version…no change.

I’ve seen several people complaining about this issue. Many seem to think it is the developers intention…to autoplay…that is.
However, if that is the case - I don’t see why the would even be an option to enable/disable next up.

It just gets frustrating when you think your Plex is gonna stop playing the episodes you queued up…then you doze off for the night. Only to find out your entire season is designated as “watched”

BTW…I keep ringing that bell for service…no one is coming to the desk.

Doesn’t sound like an unreasonable expectation. I don’t cast and can’t say I’ve noticed the issue.

Try a poop grenade in the kitchenette - I’m sure that’s where they hang out. When they come pouring out of there shout and wave.

Took me some time to figure this out but seems like the only way to turn autoplay off is when the autoplay pop-up appears.
