How do I stop Plex from removing titles from my library that are no longer on my disk?
For example, if moving file x is removed from my disk, when I update my library Plex will delete that file from my library. I want to add new files to my library, which requires I hit Update Libraries, but I don’t want to lose the title of file x which is no longer on my disk.
Turn off Auto Empty Trash after scan and it will not remove the file when its gone, its under library settings
You will need to manually empty your trash if you remove media you actually want gone from your library though
Put a placeholder file there, the size of a few bytes.
