I have NEVER been able to configure my router properly, and thus I can only use Plex at home. So I was looking forward to being able to stream directly from Dropbox and Amazon Cloud, but once again, I’m having technical difficulties. I’ve linked m Dropbox account to my Plex account. But when I go to the “add folders” feature, Dropbox simply does not appear, so I can’t access it. What am I doing wrong?
It’s possible you linked it for Cloud Sync and not plex cloud. They’re different settings I believe.
Thank you – I did indeed do it for Cloud Sync rather than Plex Cloud. Do you have a link for how to do it in Plex Cloud, by any chance?

Obviously, make sure you’ve been included in the beta first. Then:
http://forums.plex.tv/discussion/247346/december-1-plex-cloud-update#latest
Log in to Plex Web and click on your user icon in the upper right corner, then click Account.
Click Plex Cloud in the menu on the left of the Account page.
Link, unlink, or reauthorize any cloud storage providers you have, as appropriate.
Your linked Cloud storage providers will be available as file location choices when adding or editing a library.
