How to turn off subtitles for all content for managed users?

Server Version#: 1.32.8.7639
Player Version#: 4.116.1 (testing on web version as well as Shield)

Hey all. I tried turning off the subtitles in the admin account and in the managed user account (tried a few different settings) (settings > account > audio & subtitle settings) but subtitles still is on for all/most tv shows/movies, rather frustrating.

I need it off as otherwise the video will not play on the Shield via the managed user, it reports an error saying ‘an error occurred while attempting to play…’.

Any ideas pls, cheers.
