How to update plexconnect?

i have downloaded from github a coupple of days ago.

now when it has come some bug fixes how do i update? delete and download all again?

or is there any command in terminal that i can use?

  • Backup settings.py somewhere
  • Download the new zip and unzip it
  • Replace the settings.py with your old one
  • Enjoy

EDIT: Be aware though that the settings file has just been reworked so you may want to check you get the new one and set it up again.

Does git pull in a new terminal window do the same thing? That's what I've been doing...
