How to Update Plexserver on older ReadyNas

Hi, I’ve an older ReadyNas with Plex and everything works fine. Yesterday I watch a movie but now I Plex on ATV 4 didn’t work because my Plex Server is “too old” I’ve version 0.9.16.6 and it required 1.3!!! How can I update the Server when I didn’t find any update file!!! WTF is my Server outdated? I’ve a Plex Pass and now my Server can’t be updated? I can find update for the new ReadyNas but not for mine. When comes a server update for my older ReadyNas? Or how can I revert the Plex update on my ATV4?

Can anybody help me please? I use Plex daily and now nothing works.

You didn’t specify what model your ReadyNas was/is, but sadly suspect, that it is a discontinued model, as announced on march 24, 2016

I’ve a ReadyNas Ultra 6 (I see it on the list :’( ) and everything works fine with the Plex Server without any problems and for me it was great but I’ve not the money to buy a new Nas. Is there anyway to install the old Plex App on my ATV4 or revert the update because everything works fine yesterday before the autoupdate of the app

I had the old RAIDiator v4 OS on my Pro 6 ReadyNAS which stopped getting the PMS updates. I decided to nuke my ReadyNAS and upgrade it to the unofficial v6 OS so that Plex can be installed on it.

Plex works, but I’ve got some really bad stability problems with the ReadyNAS Pro 6 in general now which freezes the hardware every week at a random time.

@shogathu try the MrMC app for Apple TV, it can still connect to the older Plex server on Readynas. Works pretty well!

@marin thanks, I still use some days after the update and yes MrMC ist a good app alternative for plex
