How will the move to Plex media player affect me?

I don’t really know a lot about it, but I currently have PMS running on a NAS with a couple of ipads and a raspberry pi running the dual boot RasPlex RetroPie build.

I need to get a new pi for a different tv in the next week or so, but someone mentioned it’s all going to get a bit confusing with PMS no longer being supported.

What’s the best option for me?

Thanks,
Dom

I’m pretty sure PMS will always be supported by Plex Clients. That’s the server mechanism.

I think he ment the PHT.
There is still a development by the Rasplex - Team. Look here: [forums.plex.tv/discussion/222972/release-openpht-1-6-2/p1]
PHT on a Raspberry Pi was never officially supported by Plex. The Plex Media Player ist the first Player that supports the Raspberry Pi. It is still in development and misses some features of the PHT. But you should take a look and decide by yourself.
I don’t know if it works with dual boot on a Raspi.
