After I watch a movie the HTPC crashes and does nothing. I have to close it and reopen it. Does not seem to happen on TV shows. I’ve seen this topic posted before but could not find any answers.

Unfortunately there’re no logs from HTPC and PMS. Do you wanna grab em?
I reproduced this and added my logs to it.

I’m new to trouble shooting/fixing software, can you help me with what to do? Where do I find the instructions to fix the issue?!
Thanks for asking. Because the other topic has detailed steps to reproduce and I’ve verified the bug and added my logs for player and server, I’m fairly sure as a group of users we’ve done as much as we can to document an actual bug. You could add your logs to either topic, but it seems readily reproducible. So I don’t know how much that would help.
The next thing that happens is a Plex employee will notice the topic and file an internal bug report that will get investigated by the team. We don’t have access to their bug tracker and won’t know of any progress toward fixing it. We won’t know how hard or easy it is to fix, nor do we have much information on whether Plex has the time or the desire to do so.
It’s possible a Plex employee will comment in one of these topics.
Personally I’ve started moving on to standalone MPV and VLC.
I still use Plex to organize things, but I’m not sure for how long.
I’ve learned so much here that I’ve become very fond, and it’s hard to leave.
