Htpc wont play live channels but website and firetv does

(working) i cleared the logs then tested livetv with chrome

(not working) i cleared the logs then tested with htpc

@5stringdeath i dont watch much live tv as well. but its good for background noise sometimes.

i found it yay, and so simple. turn off direct stream. direct play only, and now it dont buffer ether.

Its not a solution. Does not work here. I tried this months ago. Thatā€™s how long its been broken.

Do you use IPTV or tuner? And does live tv work on any other devices besides htpc?

Iā€™m willing to bet the real problem is your channel has AAC audio instead of AC3 audio thus why the Windows player is not working when the others are.
