Huge red flag on 1.6.1

So my xbox one has updated automatically to this version and it has completely made the app useless.

My server sits behind a VPN and the xbox one no longer connects at all when it’s engaged. This is locally over the lan. All my other devices do perfectly but I watch through xbox one since it’s connected through gigabit ethernet and has the horsepower for a really nice playback experience.

Please fix asap!

Upon further testing, the app is now totally unstable as well. With VPN off, playback is stuttery and freezes on and off. It doesn’t matter what the quality setting is. Also upon playing and then stopping playback the app itself freezes and stops responding for a good 30 seconds before it will respond again.

Regarding VPN (my server is always behind a VPN)

In the App go to settings and set “Allow insecure connections” to Always => Then try it again, this worked for me.

Regarding the stuttering/Freezing.

Tried the insecure connection settings last night. No matter what I use, it will not see my server now which is 0.9.17.0 – I’ll attach my logs to this post

As a side note, after I turned off my vpn, tried to watch my movie and it got choppy I switched to my nexus player which did the job, though as we all know not perfectly. It was able to run without any VPN or choppiness problems though.
